I started on Elden ring at first but it didn’t feel that fun at first. I went on to try dark souls 3 and ai immediately fell in love with that game and I think I completed it like three times before actually tried Elden Ring again. Honestly I fell in love with the souls genre it made gaming fun again for me. It’s not like other games where the tasks/Quests feel like a waste of time and repetitive, No I absolutely fell in love with the lore the quests the story, learning how and when to attack and so forth. Im convinced that after elden ring I will play all the souls games even the old ones like demon souls, I want to experience that pain of thinking you will never be able to beat a boss to actually pulling it off Idk guess it’s more fun to actually learn and improve rather than just having it (EasyMode). In fact I started doing this with all of the games I play….Finishing a game on hard mode feels more rewarding and the memories of you raging for like 2 Hours just hits different 😅 Reminds me of when I was a kid getting stuck on the most basic shit 🤣🤣

Speed runners are people that truly love a game to devote hours into a game.

And yet Lies Of P is actually a fairly balanced Souls like. The only REAL issue I had was Nameless Puppet. I just couldnt get the timings down for blocking and openings but after about 5 hours i managed to barely squeeze out a win

Also I’ve had major success when I had a skill issue by just turning off the game and coming back to it later. Something a lot of kids did not get, also if you’re getting super angry and raging turning off the game and coming back to it will give you a similar effect of feeling accomplished, in control of you, and positively playing the game. But yeah fuck lies of p. I feel that. 😂

If you think dark souls is easy then go to dark souls 3 and do the nameless king.. I needed 2 other people who were both over level 200 (I was under 100) but one of them was on play through 6 and over level 300 and they kept dying, it took us so long
